#  Jet Physics from Static charges in AdS 

 



Based on [arXiv:1109.6010](http://arxiv.org/abs/arXiv:1109.6010) by Yang-Ting Chien, Matthew D. Schwartz, David Simmons-Duffin and Iain W. Stewart

This paper shows that jets can be studied efficiently by a change of coordintes inspired by radial quantization:

In AdS a dipole of charges has a confining radiation pattern. This looks qualitatively similar to the radiation pattern of jets, as discussed [here](http://jets.physics.harvard.edu/pull/index.html).
